I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... i like the biblical style that's mixed through the songs. (at least i think it has some kind of biblish style)
And I like the power and love that goes out from Gavin. I like the soft, sweet songs the most, because those are the songs i find the most comforting and meaningful.
