I have not been to a concert in quite a few years however, I was utterly blown away with Gavin's performance. First I would like to thank Gavin and his management for even playing the opera house being that it is such a small venue. I feel this made the show even more intimate and enjoyable. Matt Wertz opened the show for Gavin and his band. This was my first time hearing Matt and I think he was excellent. He was so enthusiatic and he also has strong distint vocals. So of course I am now a fan. As for Gavin and his talented band I don't know if I can find the words. I sat in the 10th row and at times I found myself not even able to sing along because of the sheer awe I was in. I did not want to miss a thing, I wanted to concentrate and soak it all in. I will admit I am a newer fan and my favorate album thus far is Chariot Stripped. For me the highlights in the show were when Gavin sang without his band, just him, a guitar/piano, and the mic. I could hear and FEEL every word along with every note. I was truly moved. There were times during the concert he interacted with the crowd and I found him to be vey entertaing. Of course that night it was everyones birthday so he playing the birthday song and yes he out does Chucky Cheese any day. Bottom line I walked away with so much apprectation for what Gavin puts in to his music and feeling that the price I paid for my ticket was not nearly enough. I hope that in the near future I get the chance to see another performance. Gavin keep doing what you're doing your music is amazing. Thank You!
Hands down the best concert I've ever been to!
