I went to the concert and thought the opening band was awesome! When Gavin came out he looked so cute in his leather jacket (now i want one). He is so great in concert; there were times ("i'm in love with a girl") where the band was so loud you couldn't here Gavin DeGraw sing. Do not get me wrong, the band was great! But we do come to see Gavin Degraw, so the needed to turn it down a bit. The concert a a good playlist but i felt like he played more songs from the new album (which i like) but wish he played more from the second album. He played song after song; i was very impressed. when the concert ended i got to meet him (for a brief time; but it was still nice) and couldn't believe that he shook and would shake hands, take a picture, and sign an autograph with every person that waited in line. I thought that was so sweet. I mean he never seemed like he was rushing any of his fans. i was impressed by that as well.

All in all, it was great but short, and wish he had two encore songs instead of one. Can't wait to see him in concert again. Love ya Gavin (since we are on a first name basis lol)

Ok I and BB went to Charlotte NC for the weekend and went to two shows at the Neighborhood Theatre. Saturday Big Head Todd - Sunday Gavin Degraw
We enjoyed the performance on Saturday from the Big Head Todd??? Very entertaining and I had never seen or knew of them before. Must say this guy can really play, and the fans in the VIP box with us were true fans and really had a good time. Big H played so many songs and really blow it out.......he had so much energy and was nonstop. One song right after the other……..great show with the Big Head Todd……….
So enough about Saturday……….....SUNDAY GAVIN DEGRAW DAY….So what can I say Sunday came and went….. At least that is how it felt ....
(we’ve only been waiting 4 years to see Gavin again last time was our town of Winston at Ziggy’s (2005) was not the best place….. but it was fun and GAVIN was great and really gave a good show and talked a lot to everyone throughout the show ) …. ……BUT back to Charlotte Neighborhood Theatre concert…… Gavin’s voice was awesome and each song was nicely done......But for some reason everything seem to move to fast …….It was like he got on stage did his performance and before you could blink it was over ……..I guess I would have liked a

longer performance, more energy and Gavin connecting more to the audience. ....He seemed a little reserved or maybe tired compared to how he was in 2005…….. Maybe he is just getting older and more reserved ……it was 4 years ago….and now he is in his 30’s ……....BUT…..do not get me wrong……. we did LOVE IT and the expense of the whole weekend was….well .. How does that commercial go……. 3 night stay in a medium priced Charlotte hotel cost $400.00… food/gas/ Drinks/Tips/Taxi rides/Tickets to two shows $750.00,…….spent $60 to meet Gavin after the show for 1 to 2 minutes…..so spending $1210.00….To enjoy a weekend with my honey (BB) and see GAVIN perform…Priceless……

The only thing that could have made it better is if GAVIN had performed Saturday and Sunday nights….I think he would have SOLD out both nights……PS liked the Neighborhood Theatre and the NoDA area…..hope to see GAVIN again someday…..GT's review….oh also I really do not know if Gavin even comes out to this site….he looked at me kind of strange when I asked if he had read the comments about his new CD (FREE) and hoped he had read mine. I guess he is way to busy to read or make his own comments to this Web site..his time is his to manage and I am sure he has other things to do with his own time a little selfish of me to think he spends time looking at what we have to say....anyway until next time.... GAVIN keep it real…keep doing your own thing you seem to be a really nice down to earth man and GT/BB love ya....
