I stood front row but I didn't had any problems with the sound.. It sounded perfect!
The vibe in front of the stage was amazing, everybody was dancing and singing!! I had a great time and I think Gavin enjoyed it too! I've made some video recordings of the preformance and Gavin is smiling and dancing a lot. I really don't understand that some people think the concert had a slow start.. not where I was standing!

I was really exited that Gavin was coming back to play here again. But the show was not by far the way I imagined it would be. It was absolutely not like how I know Gavin and his shows.

After Joey's amazing performance, I figured that Gavin would have been even more mindblowing. Unfortunatly the soundchecks were not done right and with the first couple of songs I saw Gavin giving signs about the drums being too loud. But I don't really think they did anything about it, it kept on being way too loud. And it all made it sound just ugly together. Including that it was almost unbearable whenever the guitarist and Gavin himself played their guitars!

My seats were at the balcony, but I never experienced any trouble with sound in that venue or that spot before. I was already quite dissapointed that the show started about 30 minutes late so I would have to miss the end to catch the train back home. But we ended up leaving at 10 o'clock because my ears were hurting and it was no fun being fed up with the way it sounded!

I never ever thought I'd have to leave a Gavin show in my life. I want to make a point here that it WASN'T his fault. I could see how he seemed bummed out by the way the show went down too. I just hope for him that tonight will be a better night for him. I wonder if he noticed people leaving because I know for a fact I was not the only one.

I want to apologise if it was just me and a few people being bothered by the show. But I felt this had to be shared too.. I hope next time it will be all amazing and breathtaking again, like it always had been.

I love you Gavin, please come back soon!

Good show yesterday in Paradiso, Amsterdam. All really talented artists.
Felt like the band had a cold start. No sinergy there until after half an hour. After that the show became more and more a party of happy fans and a happy energetic band.
I have one big complaint though: I came to listen to Gavin's voice and lyrics, but the soundcheck was so bad that it was hard to hear Gavin sing and almost impossible to follow the lyrics.
Next time please do a better soundcheck and more power to the singing mic's.
Lack of soundcheck and missing sinergy in the beginning almost made me go home, put on a CD of Gavin and listen to that instead.
Still, I had a good time. All great artists and good show.
