Gavin, I saw you on this show while recovering from surgery. Was very impressed with your unique style...expressivness and very upbeat way. It is so obvious you love what you do. love seeing how you give back supporting others less fortunate. As someone who went to rehab, I must tell you that nothing about the addiction and rehab experience nor the exposure one gets from that would help in ones career except that if one is blessed enough to be able to grasp a sober way of life, which unfortunatly is a small number, the will then have a clear mind thru which their real talent can come out. As far as being married to someone famous....fans seem to expect more from such people which in itself can be an obsticle. The have to rise above being "so and so's" husband and be their own person. On without real God given talent could not do that. On thing I learned in years of recovery from Alcoholism is what true humility is...and that things will happen in my life when God sees fit, as long as I do the footwork.I am not in control (thank goodness!) and as long as I follow His lead, he will open doors in my life, as He feels I am ready for them.
It is a very rare thing for me to go to a web page and write someone, but I felt compelled to write you. I do hope you read this, and that you realize this is in no way a critasism of you ...I am merely sharing my experience. You are such a talented young man and I wish you much success and a gratifying rewarding life. I will be so happy for you as I am for others with the gift of making the hearts of others happy!
