My then boyfriend bought me my first Gavin CD, I can remember us driving around holding hands and singing at the top of our lungs, When he asked me to marry him what else could we choose as our first dance as a married couple but "More then anyone" !!!! We have been married for almost three years now and not many days go by when we don't play that song, and we still hold hands and sing at the top of our lungs!! That song and entire CD holds such beautiful memories for us, on our 50th anniversary I have no doubt we will be dancing and sing "more then anyone" to each other.

There isn't a song on this album I wouldnt give at least 5 stars.
I bought it twice, after my first copy was "permanently borrowed"
Its one of the very few albums Ive owned where I have no favorites.
Every song is amazing, and the stripped version makes the songs even better!
5 years loving gavin and his music, and always will.
I hope he's still writing songs when he's 80, singing in the old folks home, making all the old ladies weak in the knees : )

I have been in love with Gavin and his music ever since the first episode of One Tree hill, when I heard 'I don't wanna be'. He is truly talented not only in the studio, but live as well. He should get much more radio air time than he does, because the amazing songs on this album are 10000000 x's better than half the stuff one the radio now!!

There are only a few CDs out there that you can listen to over an extended period of time, and they don't lose that excitement and the validity that they had when you bought them. They are timeless, and you catch yourself missing them if they are out of your CD player for too long... A few that are on the top of my head are "Jagged Little Pill" by Alanis Morissette, "Bad" by Michael Jackson, :Genius Loves Company" by Ray Charles, and "Chariot - Stripped" by Gavin DeGraw.

I bought this CD shortly after its release in 2004, and it is still in my car in 2008. When it completely stops playing, I will buy it again, and when his new CD comes out, it will join "Chariot" in the CD player. Count on it. 5 Stars doesn't even begin to describe where this CD belongs in the history books.

...that years down the road, will continue to bring back memories, not just of the music, but of every live show, every city, every moment spent letting the music move me....

every single song evokes a different feeling and a different attitude. for an example, "chemical party" makes me want to drink tequilla and dance on bars, while "belief" makes me want to make love on a bear-skin rug...

I can definitely agree with others when saying that these songs never grow old. I can listen to them all many times over and I will never grow tired of them.
Everyone can relate to different tracks from the album and it is a truly remarkable achievement to accomplish such an incredible record.
Every song is a favourite for me, and the stripped tracks are simply amazing

There aren't enough stars in the sky to rate Gavin's songs. He could sing any song and it would sound even better than the original. He is my favorite musician of all time and is the sweetest person ever. Gavin is uber-talented and fineeee I <3 Gavin!

I love Gavin's music because each song tells a story and each story reminds you of someone, some time, or some situation that has impacted your life. He is an artist that can paint a picture with his lyrics and I find that refresing. I also enjoy his down to earth mentality that makes him seem like a regular guy who is lucky enough to do something with his life that he loves. I have never gotten tired of his music and I listen to it all the time! I am counting the days to the release of the next CD. Keep up the good work Gavin!

i didnt go looking for gavins album, it found me.thats the best way to find good music. they say pictures can tell a thousand stories, gavins music can tell a million. a thousand people could hear the same song of this album and all have different feelings and memories and true art like gavins will transcened through all of our memories, thoughts and feelings. some are born great, others have greatness thrust upon them, gavin and his talent surpass this. he is a fantstic artist however he is also and amazing person xx thank you for the words gavin xx

My favorite Gavin Degraw song isn't on here "We Belong Together" from "Tristan and Isolde" and I have searched and searched online and can't find it! But I still love Gavin D!

I've had this record as my favourite for almost four years. The first 2 and half I listened to it every day. Now I listen to it atleas one time a week. It makes me feel good!! There isn't another aritist out there who's music has stayed with me for that amout of time, no one even comes close. I wished for a new copy of Chariot stripped for chrismas because my old one is getting old... I can't find anything in Gavins music that I do't love, and in my world Chariot will live forever!!

Love this album! I had back before it was a 2-disc.. then I heard the acoustic and ran out and bought it too. There aren't too many cd's that I enjoy from start to finish.. but this one I can listen to start to finish over and over again and again.

Gavin has been the one artist I have listened to consistently over the last few years and never once got tired of any of the songs. I have introduced dozens of people to his music and never once heard a complaint! I CANT wait for him to go on tour again! Every song is incredibly good - I just cant say enough. Favorite song of all: "More than anyone" - My wife and I played it at the wedding because its 'our song'. DYING TO HEAR THE NEW ALBUM, GAVIN!!

THIS RECORD IS PURE GOLD. Not one song on it i didn't like. when i heard the original studio version, i thought, "eh, it's okay". but then i put in stripped and immedietly i was stuck to gavin degraw. this record is one of the best records of it's time.
