Bette Midler, and her tree hugging troop at New York Restoration Project (NYRP), has announced one of its biggest fundraising initiatives to date, an online auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences donated by Bette and her famed friends.
Hosted by leading online auction venue, CharityFolks.com, the auction is brimming with donations from most renowned names in music. John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Cher, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews, and Tim McGraw, among others, have offered their time and access to help raise awareness and proceeds for the organization, which is dedicated to reclaiming and restoring New York City parks and community gardens.

Gavin is excited to again be working with The GRAMMY Foundation and GRAMMY In The Schools programs which has partnered with the Campbell’s Soup Company’s (CSC) academic- based Labels For Education (LFE) brand.
The "new" LFE brand will focus on Labels For Education, Arts, Athletics and Academics, and will focus on the promotion and publicity of music education and the importance of the arts in enriching and nurturing children’s lives.

Gavin will be performing live tonight in Central Park's East Meadows in New York City to celebrate the public premiere of Ken Burns' new PBS series "The National Parks: America's Best Idea!" Additional performers include Alison Krauss, Carole King, Counting Crows and Augustana. The show begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
