I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

First off, he sounds amazing! When you listen to Gavin, whether it be on his album or a live performance, you feel every emotion that he sings. You can tell he is the kind of artist that puts his heart into every aspect of his music. I love his style, too. He’s so soulful, yet rock and roll at the same time. Not to mention, he is very gifted with instruments. Gavin’s stage presence is something else that I love about him! He keeps the audience entertained with his great sense of humor. I don’t think there would ever be a dull moment at one of his concerts!
Second, you can tell how much he cares about his fans. A lot of artists don’t give their fans the time of day. Gavin is always posting videos and blogs, keeping us updated on how the making of this album is going. Fans get emotionally attached to an artists music, and it’s nice to know how things are coming along instead of just being kept in the dark. Plus, it’s cool he still does things like Sound Check Contests to get his fans a little more involved, and to get them excited about his upcoming tours and events.
One other thing that I love about Gavin is his ability to take an old school song (A Change Is Gonna Come, Nothing Can Change This Love, Lets Get It On) and make it new school. He still respects the artists like Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye by changing the songs up just enough to add a new flare to them that the young people can relate with, as well as the old. His covers always sound amazing, and he definitely does the original artists justice.

So to sum it up... Gavin is awesome!
