My friend Stef and I got there at around 3 pm and got in line. There were already about 10 girls there at that time.
The doors opened at 7. There were two entry doors and we'd waited right outside of one them but for some really weird reason they apparently decided to only open one of the freaking doors!! So needless to say there was a LOT of pushing and shoving to get everybody in. I don't know what they were thinking!!
We ran up the stairs and into the room where the concert was going to be at. Fortunately we could still get semi-good spots on the right side of the stage - right in front of Brian
The opening act was a Canadian singer called Hayley Sales. She was on the guitar and had her bass player with her. She was cute and bubbly and smiling the whole time and her music was really good too.
Gavin came on a little before nine. They used "The boys are back in town" as an intro which I thought was pretty cool
We were sure that there was gonna be a lot of pushing to get up front when Gavin came on, but there weren't, which was really nice. Unfortunaly it was the hottest venue ever!! Apparently their ventilation broke the day before and it was extremely hot! We had to fan ourselves most of the time to be able to stand it.
The concert was still awesome though!! It was definitely up there with the show at Tivoli - maybe even better. The lighting wasn't very good though so most of my pictures didn't turn out very well, but Gavin completely made up for it!! I uploaded the pics to my website (http://www.elmegaardfoto.dk) so you can check them out if you want to
Gavin kept expressing how much he loved being back in Denmark and you could definitely tell that he meant it. The show was brilliant! He's such an amazing entertainer! He's such a kid too, running around up there doing what he loves the most. It was so great
He's brought his parents with him to Copenhagen. We saw them outside the venue and in the end of the show he thanked them for being there. So sweet
At one point a girl threw a teddy bear up on the stage for him (what is he, a Backstreet Boy? lol!) and as he picked it up, he had this really funny look on his face like "why the hell am I getting a teddy bear??" and he was all "How did you know I'm the only guy in the world who likes teddybears?", it was the funniest thing!
A girl who stood right in front of me had her birthday on Thursday and Gavin dedicated his birthday song to her. It was really cute and funny.
Here's the video I got of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLMFa_-HMVo
At the end of the concert Gavin did an amazing acapella intro to "Young love". He was standing on his piano and asked us all to be quiet. But when he started singing someone yelled "Yeah!" and whole room went "Shhh!!" We couldn't help giggling which made Gavin start laughing too and he lost his focus and had to start over. lol!
Here's are some videos from that great moment

A little bit in to "Young Love", he came over to the birthday girl, fell to his knee and held her hand while he sang the rest of the song! Aww!!
The setlist was:
Crush
Next to me
Follow Through
We belong together
Untamed
Chemical party (with acoustic intro)
In love with a girl
More than anyone
Jealous guy
Never the same
Relative
Belief
I have you to thank
"Birthday song"
Nice to meet you anyway
I don't wanna be
"I found a reason to believe in someone" (acapella)
Young love
Chariot
After the show we hurried down to the merchandise stand to get t-shirts so we could do the meet-and-greet.
We went back upstairs and got in line. We were in line for a while but it was really worth it. Gavin was so sweet taking time to greet and sign personally for everybody. He even introduced himself to us - honey, we know who you are! lol!
And you know what? Gavin totally recognized us!! Even though it's been two years since Tivoli. Yay!!
When I came up to Gavin he introduced himself to me and asked if I liked the show. I told him that I loved the show, that it'd been really awesome. He said thanks and started to sign the cd booklet that I'd brought. He asked for my name and I said "it's Ulla, but you're never gonna be able to spell that" and he looked at me and gave me a huge smile and said "no, can you help me?" which of course I did. lol!
We weren't allowed to take pictures at the meet-and-greet, but we ran into Gavin outside the venue afterwards and got pictures. Here's mine: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v79/Danish_Girl/Gavinogmig.jpg
I never like pictures of myself, but I actually think that this one a pretty decent, and of course Gavin always looks awesome!
It was such a brilliant night and I can't wait till Gavin will be back in Denmark in November.
Here's my review of the concert in Copenhagen:
