I really love Gavin Degraw's new song "I'm in Love with a Girl" and being an avid fan of his (I have been to more of his concerts than I care to admit) I decided to give it a try.

Note that I do not play the piano but since Gavin is the piano man, I wanted to teach myself this song on the piano instead of playing it on the guitar. This is the first song I have ever played on the piano and I have only been working on it for about a week, so forgive the mistakes please! ;D

I really hope that you like my last minute shot at this beautiful song or that it at least doesn't make your ears bleed, that would be great!

So I'm a big fan of Gavin's...it's his music that got me started composing my own tunes on the piano and now open mics and whatnot are one of the biggest joys in my life. So thank you to Gavin for his wonderful and soulful music!
Thought I'd give my take on In Love With A Girl (but changed it to "with a guy" cause i'm a lady lol) I recorded this on my digital camera so it's not the best sound quality I know, but I hope you all enjoy it all the same! Thanks for listening!

His voice is awesome, and you can really feel the lyrics.

Umm me and my friends decided to do a little bit more than just singing. Its kinda more along the lines of a documentary but i lovee it. I mean we still sing at the end of it, so i hope yall really enjoy it.

Great voice and he totally got into the Gavin role with that piano. Definitely my favorite version! He was feeling those lyrics.

And you must come to Houston Gavin, I couldn't agree more with him.

Haha, this was clearly shot really close up and practically needs night vision to be seen. But I had a lot of fun doing it. It's so awesome to see all the other covers of Gavin's song. This should be a regular thing on his site (for fun, not necessarily for prizes). Also, this dude below me is really good!

It's awesome to see how many fans have posted videos! I was really surprised to see the overall quality and turnout of these covers, you guys/gals did a great job! I have always been an avid fan, and covered many of Gavin's songs on street corners and in bars. Its great to see the male population taking interest in these soul-felt songs and participating in this contest! I hope we can do another, maybe "Young Love"?
