I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...i am a music fanatic. Way before his song stared on "one Tree hill" i fell in love with it. I have a love for the arts. I love to write poetry and songs, so that is what i hear first. I hear the words, and with listening to such touching words it brought out an incredible feeling. Music is supposed to bring out a feeling from within. Music is an expression of how you feel, or what you want to say. And with each of his songs it evoked a different feeling and emotion that i suppressed or something i couldn't say out loud. And that is the best feeling that you can feel. To hear a song that says everything you feel and everything you want to say or feel-nothing can replace that. Then to add on top of that you have an incredible talent with an amazing tone and voice. His voice is raw, you feel the emotion the words are supposed to evoke. You hear the hurt, the hope, the love, you hear everything. I love his work....and it wouldn't be as great without his fabulous talent behind the awesome songs...

I honestly have millions of favorite lyrics, but today this is it. Maybe its because i have spent hours talking on how this world is not what i remembered as a child-and im not that old. But im waiting for it to be that world that i imagined-that i couldn't wait to be apart of and be an adult in. So i am just waiting...waiting on the world to change. Because my little voice-is just a little voice i don't have the means to make it change....so i take a stand on my voice and wait for the people who do have the means to make right by this world change it. Its a shame that the children in this day in age aren't children. I feel for my brother and my cousins because they didn't get to have the childhood and the life i did as a kid....and its all because this world has changed....and now it is really time for it to change into something good.,..
