I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Wow, there are so many reasons why I am a Gavin DeGraw fan! Well it all started when I bought the Chariot CD in 2003 after hearing "Follow Through" on the radio. I of course expected good things from the CD, but what I got was so much more than I could have ever expected. Every song on that CD was a song that I could relate to in some way. Whether it be something I have experienced personally, or something I have watched a close friend or loved one go through, I related to them all. Never before had I listened to an artists album and felt that I could relate to every word. I still remember hearing "Look into my eyes, what do you see? Not just the color, look inside of me.", for the first time. Never had truer words been spoken. It's hard to explain, but when you live in a world that you feel all alone in, and all of a sudden here comes this guy who basically just put into words everything you have felt, or been a witness to, all of a sudden you don't feel alone any longer.

After telling my closest friend about Gavin and his music, he surprised me by taking me to a Gavin show as my Christmas present. It was nothing short of amazing. It was, and still is to this day the best concert I had ever been to. I found myself going home and looking up tour dates and other Gavin related things. I couldn't wait until the next time I could see one of Gavin's shows! After seeing my second show, I was so taken by some a song he had performed at that show, that wasn't on the album, that I had to see if I could find it on the internet somewhere. That's when I stumbled upon Gavin's street team. I had no idea at the time what a street team even was, but I decided to join it and look around.... so what it was all about. After learning what the street team was all about I was so excited to share with everyone who this great musician was who's music has touched me so deeply. While on the street team I was so fortunate enough to have met amazing friends, and I also learned that not only did I love promoting, but I was actually good at it! So after meeting another great friend through the street team, we had both decided that we could actually do this as a living... and so we started our own company!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Gavin a few times, and after getting a glimpse of how he treats his fans, and how he appreciates them, it's an absolute pleasure to support Gavin and his music.

As silly as it may sound to some, Gavin's music, his talent, his art, have changed my life. Through his music I have found some of the best friends I have ever had, been to places and experienced things I never thought I'd do, and most importantly, I found myself and my passion in life. After all these things I have been blessed with just from loving his music, how could I not be a fan? It's an honor to one of Gavin's fans, and I thank God for that everyday.
