It was definitely a cold night, but Gavin's talents warmed the audience as he delivered an outstanding performance at the 100th celebration of the Furniture Market in High Point, NC 10/15/09. Gavin was energetic and happy to be on stage. Some of my favorite parts of the night...

Meaning was absolutely beautiful, flawless... Here's the link:

Gavin DeGraw made a special appearance at Whiskey River in Charlotte, NC 10/15/09 to benefit the Dale Earnhardt, Jr Foundation. It was a night filled with splendor and awe as Gavin gave a fantastic acoustic performance. Acoustic performances, to me, equals the best of Gavin DeGraw. He many times enters the acoustic performance with a minimal set ist in mind and takes requests from the audience. On this particular night, Gavin was chatty and in good spirits, performing for about 1hr 20min, when he was requested to perform 40min.

Gavin DeGraw was the opening act for Kelly Clarkson at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, NY on 8/27/09. Due to the time constraints of being the opening act, Gavin's setlist was limited included some of his most popular music including Free, Chariot, and I Don't Want To Be. Gavin delivered a fantastic performance. He is a talented performer who relies on his vocal talents as the backbone of his performance!

What a privilege to say that I attended this performance. The event itself was so touching. It was an honor to hear how people are trying to move forward after such a horrifying event and so many tragic losses. This event was simultaneously heart wrenching and inspiring at the same time.

I am so pleased that Gavin chose to participate in a worthy event. He sang "Belief" and his performance was spectacular. The best performance of "Belief" by Gavin that I have witnessed. Describing it is beyond words. Thank you Gavin for supporting NYC and our country!

For his third studio album, Gavin DeGraw set out to make an album that goes back to the basics, that strips away the barriers between the raw magnetism of the music and the listener’s ears.

A two-week long jam session in a New York studio with producer Camus Celli resulted in Free, a collection of 10 songs exhibiting the intended minimal production, and DeGraw’s immense talent for writing songs that run the gamut of love’s ups and downs.

Billy Norris will be joining Gavin in concert this Spring as the lead guitarist.

From The St Petersburg Times:
One afternoon in November, Billy Norris was sitting around his New York City apartment, looking forward to his last semester at the Manhattan School of Music, where he studies jazz bass.
