Once again he pulled off another great show! I wish he would've played longer and jammed with the band more, but as always it was a fabulous performance and I got to meet him after the show. What a great guy! I hope he keeps touring this way - big venues aren't the best anyway.
I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Gavin Degraw is a timeless musician. It takes a very talented soul to produce the songs he has, and his ability to cover some of the best songs in history....Leonard Cohen, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Leon Russell...this guy is unbelievable. I grew up listening to guys jam and play in rock bands. I would've loved to have grown up watching and listening to Gavin learn and create music. I always judge the music I hear by how tingly I get. You know...when the hair stands up on your skin and you really feel the music inside. You feel the soul of the person performing. There aren't very many people in this world who can do that! I think if you are truly a music lover, and understand the greatness of his talents you'll be a fan forever like me!
