First of all, I have a confession to make. I was there to see the Goo Goo Dolls. As a Buffalonian and serious Gooholic, I make it my business to attend as many of their shows as possible. Lucky for me I caught this one, because Gavin was fantastic. His affable manner and down-home vibe translate well in a smaller venue like the State Fair. His sound was clear and true, and you could really hear every lyric. He got the crowd into every tune, and I have to say I liked each one better than the next.
