I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
I never heard of Gavin Degraw back in 04 when he was touring with Ingram Hill and Michael Tolcher. I would go to the shows just to see the opening acts and leave without even giving Gavin a chance. Then, on one fateful night in St. Louis, I decided to stick around, and I was kicking myself for missing out on him all that time. He was one of the most passionate performers I'd ever seen.... 'Cop Stop' was the first song I really listened to, and I've been hooked ever since. Currently, my favorite song is "We Belong Together".... it gives me chills.... which I think is a requirement of a favorite song.
It's one of those albums...
...that years down the road, will continue to bring back memories, not just of the music, but of every live show, every city, every moment spent letting the music move me....
every single song evokes a different feeling and a different attitude. for an example, "chemical party" makes me want to drink tequilla and dance on bars, while "belief" makes me want to make love on a bear-skin rug...
oh that gavin degraw....
