I really like Gavin because he seems so sincere in his songs. His tone, presentation, the lyrics...all of it...just gives me the shivers! I'm not a fan of commercial grade music and Gavin is most definitely not commercial. I've never met him, but he seems so down to earth and approachable. His music just seems to speak to me on an emotional and intellectual level. It gets me to think about alot of things that I may not have otherwise thought about.

I'd be hard pressed to pick a "favorite" song as I really love them all. I am a huge fan of his cover of Sam Cooke's "Change Is Gonna Come".

As far as a favorite lyrical line I guess I'll go with "Part of where I'm going, is knowing where I'm coming from" out of "I Don't Want To Be". That simple little line says so much, doesn't it???
