I'm a fan...what more can I say? I have been a fan since hearing Gavin's song as the theme song on One Tree Hill and fell for him when he was a guest on one of its episodes. I am a visual artist and can totally appreciate his art and what he puts into it. When I hear his music, I cannot deny his personal investment in what he sings. In the moment he opens his mouth and sings those lyrics it is obvious that he is something special. I'm not going to lie, I have felt like a slighted fan over the last couple of years, anticipating his new cd and return to the states. After seeing him perform live three times and even meeting him about 4 years ago, I've awaited more of his music (as has his other fans). I just think his music doubles as poetry...beautiful poetry.
