I saw Gavin five years ago in Memphis, and I realized that he is the exact type of artist I want to be. His style is contemporary, but very classic, and his musicianship is phenomenal. He's got the most amazing voice I've heard from a musician in years. I, as a singer, and newfound songwriter, really admire Mr. DeGraw. His songs not only have unique-yet-classic sounding melodies that are so catchy and lovable, but his lyrics are very poetic and meaningful. I don't connect with the music of many contemporary artists the way I do with Gavin's music. I hope to collaborate with him one day, or at least get the chance to sing back-up for him. What a thrill!
